Desirae Parsons - Artist

Desirae Parsons is an artist in Ridgefield, WA, who is drawn to earthy colors, fluffy companions, and beautiful imperfections. She creates custom, expressive pet portraits that capture personality, as well as loose, earth-toned paintings inspired by texture, color, and the charm found in imperfect brushstrokes.

When she’s not painting, you’ll usually find her digging in the dirt, tackling a DIY project, exploring the outdoors with her husband, or playing the piano. Her favorite source of inspiration is seeing the world through the eyes of her curious three-year-old son, who reminds her that wonder is often hiding in plain sight.

By day, Desirae works as a paraeducator, where creativity, patience, and finding unique ways to see the world are just as important as they are in her art.
